They should have a thorough knowledge of the test equipment and its use, familiarity with specification requirements and the company protocol, and good training and experience in the technology of in-place testing of HEPA systems.

When independent personnel are hired for certification testing of systems, they should have all above qualifications and should be able to provide proof of capability through references. It cannot be stressed enough that qualified personnel who will provide a thorough and honest service must be used
